We are pleased to invite you to actively participate in the fifth edition of the Tusnad Eco Bear Conference, which will take place in Băile Tușnad between October 20–23, 2026. The conference is dedicated to strengthening cooperation in the field of coexistence between humans and large carnivores.
In a context where challenges related to the management of large carnivores are becoming increasingly complex, we aim to provide a framework in which ongoing conservation and research projects can be presented to a diverse audience, strengthening their role as platforms for mutual learning and as catalysts for institutional collaboration. For this edition, we have therefore allocated dedicated time for such initiatives, structured into six project-dedicated sessions.
These sessions are conceived as applied working environments. Their primary objective is to move beyond conventional presentation formats and to enable direct interaction between project teams and relevant stakeholders. Sessions can be organized in flexible formats, such as panels, round tables, workshops, or thematic discussion forums, depending on the needs and objectives of each project.
From an organizational perspective, the conference will provide the necessary infrastructure to support these sessions, including venue space, technical equipment, and logistical assistance. The specific format and structure of each session will be established in coordination with participating projects, ensuring alignment with their scope and expected outcomes.
Fee and included services
The proposed fee for booking a session of up to 2 hours and covers the following:

The fee includes the infrastructure necessary for conducting the sessions, as follows:
- Meeting room and logistical support
- EN–RO–HU interpretation services
- Technical equipment (projector, audio system, etc.)
- Work materials (flipcharts, markers, consumables)
- Basic printed materials (badges, labels, maps, etc.)
Booking confirmation
The booking of a session will be confirmed through a contract, which will specify the services included, as well as the rights and responsibilities of the parties, and the logistical support provided by the organizers. Resources will be provided within reasonable limits; any special requests (e.g. high-cost printing) will be discussed and approved in advance, depending on feasibility.
